Indian citizens travelling to Sri Lanka need an Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) which allows you to stay in the country for 30 days. The passport of the applicant must be valid for at least six months from the date of your arrival to apply for a Sri Lanka ETA.
If the travellers wish to extend their stay in Sri Lanka, they can apply for an extension. the short term visit visa can be extended for up to 270 days from the date of arrival. This is done in three stages - 30 days upon entry; 60 days for the first extension; 90 days for the third and the fourth extension.
