Common Reasons for Visa Rejection
Uzbekistan e-Visa refusals are rare — here is what to watch out for before applying
Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months beyond your planned departure from Uzbekistan. Short-validity passports are rejected automatically.
White background, full face, no glasses, taken within 3 months. Selfies, phone screenshots and low-resolution images are rejected by the e-Visa portal.
A previous immigration violation in Uzbekistan or other CIS countries (Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan) may negatively affect your e-Visa approval.
Uzbekistan e-Visa takes 3–5 business days. Apply at least 7 days before departure to allow buffer for document corrections.
